Dexter Daze

We had a great Dexter Daze this past Friday and Saturday, August 11 & 12, 2006!






This annual event draws visitors from all over the area, Dexter Daze includes numerous craft booths, two days of entertainment for both kids and adults, face painting, rides and tons of food! But the best part was taking a break at the Dexter Pub outdoors for an ice tea where we ran into Julie Wineman and her daughter. While chatting, people recognized us from the House Hunters TV show, and that was fun. I was able to pick up some floating bees wax candles and a pull chain for the ceiling fan. I truly enjoy the small town feel and efforts of all to put this event together. I am going to try to place a video of the kids singing on stage with an entertainer, in the mean time, pictures will have to do.
