Company Activity Report

I thought I would include a message from Dan Elsea, owner of Real Estate One, about the strength this organization brings to the marketplace, specifically to the Ann Arbor area.

Dear Team,

I have reviewed the latest market report provided to us by NAR about the Metro area. The statistics are good and the general trends are useful, but the outlook is a bit rosy which comes from looking at the numbers from afar.

Some good new numbers for us over the past 45 days (August 1st to Sept 15th):

Number of homes sold August 1st to Sept 15th: 2,250

Number of buyer contacts from Open Houses in last 45 days: 9,312

Number of Showing Appointments made on our Listings in last 45 days: 20,431

Number of unique visitors to our company Web sites: 105,000

Number of times our listings have been viewed on Realtor.com in the last four months: 27,358,493 (that averages 5,471,699 per month!)

Our List to sale Ratio compared to the MLS's: 42% vs. 29%.
A home listed with our family of companies is 44% more likely to sell compared to the average of the MLS.

Our gain in business compared to the MLS's: Although our business is down this year compared to last, our competitors are not fairing as well as we are. We are out performing the MLS rate of sales to date by 34% (based on closing through 8/31/2006)


Your hard work is paying off! We are exceeding the market in most every key measurement.
